As humans we are naturally creatures of habit, but switching up your workouts can improve performance, help overcome stubborn plateaus, and allow you to see those desired goals quicker. 1. Does my current workout routine still match my desired goals? First and foremost, your goals need to be realistic. Make them measurable, specific and time bound. The more specific your goals are, the clearer the paths to achieving them becomes. In addition, remind yourself the reason for setting these goals. What drives you?
2. Does my routine still feel enjoyable? This is where incorporating group classes is extremely beneficial. By joining group classes, you can meet new gym-mates and push yourself more than you would individually, while immersing yourself in a fun and uplifting atmosphere that helps create structure.
